Kiara Campbell

Kiara is a passionate advocate for justice, family well-being, and community service. After graduating from McMain High School, she attended Philander Smith University, where she studied Criminal Justice, and has continued to build her skills through opportunities focused on personal and professional growth.

Kiara is TrainingGrounds’ first AmeriCorps Serve Louisiana volunteer and is a proud graduate of FAM First Cohort 1. As she prepared to welcome her first child, she participated in FAM First, completing the Committed to Change workforce readiness program at JOB1, the Infant Bonding and Brain Building workshop at TrainingGrounds, and an eight-week series focused on perinatal education, parenting, and healthy relationships.

Drawing from her own experiences, Kiara is excited to bring her compassion, determination, and commitment to service to TrainingGrounds and to support families in accessing the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. She plans to pursue Paralegal Studies at Loyola University and remains committed to growing both personally and professionally while making a positive impact in her community.
